Cody needs to throw his cymbal at this coil to blow the mic snake up. May needs to sing to it because this opens up its base, which reveals a coil. In the next room over, you’ll find a mic that’s more like a snake. Cody should hit the coil with a shield throw to blow it up, which reveals a door to walk through. You’ll see a weird coil attached to a mic. In order to do that, May, who’s on top of the entire wind chime, must move left and right to change the height of the individual chimes.Īfter this, proceed to the right and together, pull the lever down. Now, Cody will need to jump from hanging wind chime to hanging wind chime. He must move May along while she’s on the waves and do so in such a way that she doesn’t hit the gray waves floating by up top and down below. Cody is in charge of the blue waves (controlled by rotating the left stick) and the red waves (controlled by rotating the right stick). In the next section, it appears May is inside an audio mixer. He must move the platforms in such a way that May can jump onto them and make her way through the door on the right at the top. Rotate the sticks to rotate the corresponding wheels. Here, Cody will be in charge of rotating tape wheels with platforms on them. The game’s perspective will shift to 2D for a bit. Walk down the pathway up here and it will eventually fall, causing Cody and May to slide down. When he’s there, he can climb up the amps to reach the cords pictured below: The only thing is that they’re actually flipped - to go forward, it might look like May should sing into the B mic, but she should actually sing into the D mic.Ĭody and May must cooperate to get Cody to the other side. It has green letters that correspond to the mics May is singing into. You’ll find a platform for Cody to stand on with a cross on it. Here, you’ll find a strange set up: a purple cord, a green cord, a yellow cord, and red cord, each attached to a mic. He must do this to get himself and May to the other side. Cody can press RT/R2 to perform a shield block, which will block the laser if he stands right in front of it. In Rehearsal, you’ll be faced with a wall of lasers. Ignore that it says you’ve missed three minigames because we’ll be doubling back and grabbing them as we progress. You’ll learn here that Setting the Stage is actually more of a hub for The Attic because you’ll return to it multiple times. This will bring them into the actual jukebox. Cody and May will have to push the last coin in together. When coins begin to fall down, grab three of them and push them into the coin slot on the jukebox. While in the air, Cody needs to hit a button on the jukebox to create a platform for them to land on. Up here, do the same to the mic and speaker up ahead but make sure to do it while both May and Cody are standing on the speaker so that they can launch over at the same time so that May can sing into the next mic in line and launch Cody and May even higher. May can shoot the mic with her voice while standing on the speaker, which is how she gets across. This will send a soundwave to the speaker that will launch whoever is on it up to the platforms above. May should aim at the mic with LT/L2 and shoot her voice into it with RT/R2. In the next room, you’ll find some amps to platform across and a speaker attached to a mic. Do it quickly to reach the other side before May’s singing bar runs out of breath. Now, May and Cody must walk across it and to the next record (which will rise when May’s singing gets near it). May needs to stand on the edge and sing to bring the records up. You’ll see what’s below in the next room: Proceed forward to the door and have May sing at it to open it. Cody must destroy the two straps of tape on the left and right side with his cymbal and then May must use her voice to knock it down. Make your way across the platforms until you reach a VHS tape held up by its own tape. A small cutscene will begin and Cody and May will be in a new area. Both Cody and May must interact with the switch up here to continue. When you’re ready to continue and finish exploring the rest of the area, head to the platform above the “ Backstage” sign. Whoever finishes three laps first wins the race. Basically, don’t go around curves and corners too quickly and the car will remain on the track. You don’t need to control the direction of the car - that’s done with acceleration. To play this game, press RT/R2 to accelerate along the track. To begin the Slotcars minigame, both Cody and May should interact with the controllers by the tambourine.
